The Interpreter: Yes, it is finished completely, but there is the first total of receipt on the top margin. The two taels odd tall with the two taels odd in the book here and the 3 taels 6 in the top margin tallies with the 3 taels 6 in the receipt.
His Excellency: Yes, but altogether there was 7 taels 27
The Interpreter: He refers then to the first item because it was carried over from the front to the back of the book and that says "deducting what has been received there is due 3 taels 6" and that receipt of 3 taels 6 on the top refers to this 3 taels 6 in the body of the book.

A. The whole thing has been paid.
